I’ve had several careers in my life including Human Resources, Physical Therapy and Massage Therapy (practitioner and instructor). Though these career choices may seem very different, they have one thing in common and that is working with people. Whether I was dealing with complex HR issues, injured patients or stressed clients, one thing that was most important to me was meeting people where they were and helping them solve whatever issue they were facing. As your massage therapist and/or coach, we can work together to achieve your goals and work on your mindset to get to where you want to be.

Crafting Identity: Business Name Journey
I don't know about you, but I've often wondered where a business gets its name. I had, afterall aready had another massage business and had already been through this, and I also knew what I wanted to communicate to potential clients. Some would think it should be easy. I spent countless days and nights spent trying to come up with a name that I felt was appropriate. I made many, many lists, only to repeatedly cross off my own ideas. And then...it finally came to me.

I had been having a conversation with a couple people about how we come to a point in our lives where we find ourselves making plans for our futures or even just sharing dreams of what is yet to come. I have found myself often saying someday I'll do that, go here or try that. In our conversation I heard myself say "Someday is NOW!" That night I went to sleep and woke up realizing I had my business name, for the time for self-care, self-reflection, self-exploration is NOW. From that came the term Nurturing Our Wellness (NOW).
